It’s a tale as old as time, Californians ready for a change.  Arend was the much loved Executive Director for Oakwood, a 60 bed facility in California, and Esther taught at the College of Ayurveda.  Arend got together with his very good entrepreneur friend, Robb and together they hatched the idea of opening their own senior care home, with Arend’s experience running a care home, and Robb’s small business background, they got to searching for the perfect home.  That was a year ago.  Finally they landed in Clearwater with a small trailer of their things with the sole purpose to make this home a warm, safe, and inviting place where care will be provided.  A lantern, if you will.
